Marcus Rashford has returned to Manchester United following a one-year loan at Barcelona, but he is not currently in Michael Carrick's plans for the starting lineup. The 28-year-old is now looking for a way out of the club to secure more regular playing time.
Chelsea have expressed interest, as United are open to a potential transfer fee of 30 million euros. However, the Blues are wary of the player's current wages, which stand at 350,500 euros per week, and acknowledge they cannot currently match those terms.
With the transfer window closing, both parties are expected to attempt to reach a compromise. Rashford comes off a productive season, having recorded 14 goals and 15 assists in 49 appearances.
