Manchester United manager Eva Olid says she is actively seeking recommendations as she prepares to explore the city for the first time since her arrival. The Spaniard, who took over two months ago, admitted that her schedule has been dominated by work, leaving little time for leisure.
With the Women's Super League now on a two-week international break, Olid is eager to make the most of the downtime. Having moved from Hearts, she described her initial months as a cycle of home and work, but with her family now visiting, she is ready to discover her new surroundings.
Her tenure began under difficult circumstances, including early losses to London City Lionesses and Chelsea. However, the team has turned a corner, securing four straight wins across the WSL and League Cup, including a notable victory over Liverpool. This resurgence suggests her philosophy is finally taking root within the squad.
Despite the recent success, Olid remains focused on further progress:
We have started to click in a lot of things and they fight for each other. But there is still a lot to improve. We created chances, but our last pass and our finishing needs to be better.
