The ninth round of the 2026/27 German Bundesliga delivered expected results for the league leaders this Saturday. Borussia Dortmund secured a 2-1 victory over Elversberg at Signal Iduna Park, fueled by a brace from Felix Nmecha.
Bayern Munich also claimed three points, defeating Mainz 2-1 on the road. Harry Kane played a decisive role by providing two assists, while Joshua Kimmich and Karl netted the goals for the visitors.
Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt showed great resilience as they salvaged a 2-2 draw against Paderborn despite being reduced to ten men following Baum's 75th-minute dismissal. Burkhardt was the hero for Frankfurt, netting a brace including a late equalizer in stoppage time.
The most clinical performance came from RB Leipzig, who dismantled Augsburg 5-2 at the Red Bull Arena. This marks the team's fifth consecutive dominant home victory in the current league campaign.
