The BBC has secured an extension to its rights agreement with UEFA, ensuring that all international fixtures for Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland will remain live and free-to-air until June 2028.
This extension covers approximately 60 live matches over the next two years. The coverage will include this autumn's Nations League fixtures as well as the qualification campaign for Euro 2028. Every match will be available across the broadcaster's platforms, including television, BBC iPlayer, and BBC Sounds.
Since first securing full live rights for the three nations in March 2025, the BBC has reported record-breaking viewership for international football. Coverage of World Cup qualifiers saw significant audience numbers across the UK, with decisive matches drawing millions of viewers and driving record engagement for the BBC Sport app and digital content.
The broadcaster also confirmed that it will carry live coverage of Euro 2028, which is set to be hosted across nine stadiums in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
