Manchester City head coach Enzo Maresca has shared his assessment of the team's start to the new Premier League campaign. Following a hard-fought victory against Bournemouth, the Italian manager admitted that he has yet to see significant improvements in the team's performance.

I feel the same as I did after the Arsenal game. Obviously, you are usually judged by results, but I do not see significant changes. Unfortunately, it is a long process and I am looking for solutions. Enzo Maresca

Maresca highlighted that the team is still in a transitional phase and dealing with physical discrepancies. Key players are not yet at their peak condition following the pre-season period, which the manager believes is impacting the team's overall fluidity.

We still have Erling Haaland, Elliot Anderson, Marc Guehi, and Nico O'Reilly who are still in pre-season preparation. It is a huge difference in terms of physical condition, and we will get better and better. Enzo Maresca

The manager also touched upon defensive stability, noting that in the Premier League, clean sheets are difficult to come by. He insisted that the most important factor is how the team reacts to the challenges posed by opponents during matches, expecting gradual improvement as the season progresses.
