Mika Godts reflects on PSG debut after comeback against Rennes
Mika Godts praised PSG's fighting spirit and the traveling fans after helping inspire a second-half revival to draw 2-2 with Rennes.

PSG began their Ligue 1 title defence with a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Rennes at Roazhon Park. The hosts took control in the first half through strikes from Sebastian Szymanski and Esteban Lepaul, leaving the French champions with work to do after the interval.
The introduction of Mika Godts and Torres transformed the contest, with the Spanish forward netting a quickfire brace to rescue a point for the visitors. For young Belgian winger Godts, the match marked a memorable, albeit challenging, debut for the club.

Manager Luis Enrique admitted the first 45 minutes were complicated, citing Rennes' precision on the counter-attack as a significant hurdle. He praised the impact of his substitutes but noted that the team's defensive resilience requires immediate attention following their previous Trophee des Champions defeat to Lens.
PSG will look to secure their first competitive victory of the campaign when they travel to face Lille on Friday, August 28.
