Barcelona management have no plans to part ways with midfielder Marc Casado. Despite sustained interest from Atletico Madrid, the Catalan club views the 22-year-old academy graduate as a key part of their future.
Atletico head coach Diego Simeone is reportedly a major admirer of Casado's talent. According to reports, the Madrid club has been scouting the player for months with the aim of completing a transfer this coming summer. Within the capital club, there is a strong belief that the midfielder could become a central figure in Simeone’s project.
However, the Blaugrana are currently uninterested in selling their homegrown talent. Throughout the 2025/26 season, the midfielder has featured in 34 matches across all competitions, providing one assist, which demonstrates his established role within the squad.
