Atlético Mineiro plans infrastructure improvements at Arena MRV
Atlético Mineiro management held a meeting with fan representatives to discuss stadium upgrades and logistical improvements at Arena MRV.

The management of Atlético Mineiro held another meeting with the 'Fan Council' (Conselho da Massa) to discuss strategic plans for the club's home ground, Arena MRV. The main focus of the session was to enhance the fan experience and streamline stadium operations.
Club Operations Director Leonardo Barbosa noted that the parties discussed several issues, including access logistics. The club is coordinating with public authorities to improve transport efficiency, including the creation of special shuttle lines from the city center and better metro connections.
We have operational issues such as improving the metro route to the Arena, creating parking for fan buses coming from the countryside, and providing a special line from the center. We are also addressing acoustics and other actions raised by the fans which we are working to implement as quickly as possible. Leonardo Barbosa
In addition to logistics, the meeting covered ticket pricing policies, security costs, and general stadium services. According to Barbosa, some of the suggestions have already begun to be implemented. The director also addressed security costs, which had been a subject of debate on social media, by providing transparency on how the Arena's security operations are structured to prioritize fan comfort.
The Fan Council acts as a consultative body designed to strengthen dialogue between the supporters and the club, a key priority for the new management team as they aim to rebuild their connection with the fans.
