Atlas prepares to unveil new 32,000-seat stadium project

Mexican club Atlas is preparing for the formal unveiling of its new stadium project. On October 7, the club will officially present plans for a facility designed to host 32,000 fans, marking a significant step in its institutional growth.

The stadium will be built on lands belonging to the University of Guadalajara. The construction process is estimated to take approximately two years, with the club aiming for an inauguration in 2030. This initiative follows the change of ownership finalized last July and is part of a broader strategy to reconstruct the team's long-term future.

Beyond its function as a football venue, the project is planned as a modern sports complex designed to act as an economic driver for the area in Guadalajara. The collaboration with the university aims to boost both commercial flow and local infrastructure.
