Speaking ahead of their Women's Champions League fixture against Real Madrid, Jeglertz maintained that the team remains focused on their sporting objectives.

Jeglertz declined to comment further on whether he had received specific assurances regarding the potential impact of these charges on the women's team. Defender Jade Rose echoed this focus, stating that the players are receiving the same messaging as the public and are choosing to focus exclusively on their footballing duties.

While the long-term implications of the charges—which relate to the 2009-10 to 2017-18 seasons—remain unclear, there is currently no active investigation from the Women's Super League. The charges concern Premier League regulations rather than the current WSL framework.
