Aston Villa ready to break transfer record for Jackson

Aston Villa are reportedly preparing a significant move to strengthen their attack, with Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson identified as the primary target for the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to reports, manager Unai Emery is keen on bringing the 25-year-old to Birmingham. The club is said to be prepared to surpass their current transfer record of 51.2 million pounds, which was spent to acquire Johan Manzambi, in order to secure the striker's services.

Jackson has been a consistent presence for Chelsea since arriving in the summer of 2023. During his time at Stamford Bridge, the Senegalese international has featured in 81 matches across all competitions, contributing 30 goals and 12 assists.
