Moroccan international midfielder Amir Richardson is set to return to the club where his career began. After a six-month loan spell at Copenhagen, where the purchase option was not exercised, the 24-year-old is heading back to Le Havre.

Le Havre has reached an agreement with Fiorentina for a one-year loan deal that includes an €8 million purchase option. The move follows a period of transition for the player who originally left the club in the summer of 2023.

The return was driven by head coach Didier Digard and new sporting director Demba Ba. The club acted decisively to secure the 1.97m tall midfielder, successfully beating out competition from Nice, who were delayed by the need to secure funds from other sales.

Richardson is expected to undergo his medical examination by the weekend to finalize the transfer.
