After Summerville: Al-Hilal compete with Al-Qadsiah for Saudi League gem
Following the signing of Crysencio Summerville, Al-Hilal have entered a battle with Al-Qadsiah to secure promising Al-Riyadh midfielder Ahmed Al-Sayahi.

Al-Hilal continue their aggressive summer transfer window following the official arrival of Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville. The Riyadh giants, who recently secured Summerville from West Ham United on a four-year deal, have now turned their attention to Ahmed Al-Sayahi, the young midfielder currently playing for Al-Riyadh.
According to reports from Asharq Al-Awsat, Al-Hilal have entered the race to sign the 21-year-old, directly challenging Al-Qadsiah. The latter club was reportedly close to a deal, but Al-Hilal intervened in the final hours to disrupt the move. Previously, Al-Riyadh rejected an opening bid from Al-Qadsiah due to its low financial value, leading the club to prepare an improved offer that also includes Al-Sayahi's teammate, Sultan Haroun.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri notes that Al-Sayahi is attracting interest from European clubs, cementing his reputation as one of the Saudi Pro League's fastest-rising talents. Despite not recording a goal or assist in 19 league appearances last season, his potential has made him a high-priority target.
This pursuit marks the latest move for Al-Hilal, who have already completed six signings this window, reinforcing their squad depth as they look to maintain their dominance in the competition.
