Yukhym Konoplya undergoes medical ahead of Borussia Mönchengladbach move

Shakhtar Donetsk and Ukraine national team full-back Yukhym Konoplya is closing in on a move to Borussia Mönchengladbach. The 26-year-old defender is currently undergoing his medical examination with the German club.

Konoplya is expected to join the Bundesliga side as a free agent. Reports indicate that he will sign a contract running until the summer of 2029.

As part of the agreement, Shakhtar will retain 50% of the economic rights to the player. The clubs are currently preparing the official announcement of the transfer.
