Wayne Rooney warns Michael Carrick over sack risk after Man Utd transfer failures

Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has voiced concerns over Michael Carrick's future at the club. The former striker insists that the current manager does not have the luxury of time, as the club's ownership is focused on immediate success rather than long-term building.

United have endured a difficult start to the Premier League campaign, securing only four points from their first three matches and conceding six goals. Rooney believes the mounting pressure at Old Trafford creates an environment where results must be delivered instantly.

Rooney was particularly vocal regarding the club's summer transfer business. Rooney noted that while Carrick may publicly support the squad, the manager is likely frustrated by the lack of necessary defensive reinforcements.

The club captain, Bruno Fernandes, also drew sympathy from Rooney. He argued that the playmaker has been left isolated without the proper support system required to compete at the elite level of English football.
