Ukraine national team to change goalkeeping coach: Tymenko to replace Khudzhamov

Rustam Khudzhamov is set to leave the Ukraine national team coaching staff, with Polissya's Volodymyr Tymenko taking over as goalkeeping coach.

The Ukrainian Football Association is set to part ways with current national team goalkeeping coach Rustam Khudzhamov, according to journalist Serhii Tyshchenko.

Reports suggest that starting from the upcoming training camp, goalkeepers will be coached by Volodymyr Tymenko, who currently serves as the goalkeeping coach for Polissya. It remains unclear whether the specialist will combine his club duties with the national team role or focus exclusively on the 'Blue and Yellows'.

The change comes ahead of upcoming friendly matches, with Ukraine scheduled to face Poland on May 31 and Denmark on June 7. These will be the first games under the leadership of Maldera. Notably, goalkeeper Heorhii Iermakov was recently called up to the national squad.
