Georgiy Sudakov ruled out of Hungary match due to injury

Ukraine midfielder Georgiy Sudakov will miss the upcoming Nations League match against Hungary. The Ukrainian Association of Football confirmed that the player sustained an injury and has been released from the national team camp.

The injury occurred during the away match against Northern Ireland, which ended in a 3-0 defeat for Ukraine. Given that a quick recovery is not possible, the coaching staff decided to release the player. Sudakov has already returned to his club, Benfica, for treatment and rehabilitation.

Sudakov's absence poses a significant challenge for the national team ahead of a crucial fixture. Ukraine and Hungary are currently tied for second place in the group with 4 points each, making their upcoming match decisive for the qualification race. Northern Ireland currently leads the group with 7 points.
