Tresoldi on choosing between Italy or Germany: "It's 50-50"
The player discussed his conversations with Jurgen Klopp and Roberto Mancini regarding his international future.
Tresoldi has spoken candidly about the decision regarding his international future, admitting that his choice between Italy and Germany remains a 50-50 split. The player confirmed he has held constructive discussions with the national team managers of both countries.
Regarding his talks with Jurgen Klopp, Tresoldi highlighted the manager's supportive nature:
"He speaks to me more like a father than a national-team manager, he is very understanding. We had some good conversations. I explained my situation to him. He is a fantastic person. He only wanted to help me decide, he understood my position and left me at ease. Klopp said that the door will always be open for me."
Tresoldi also addressed his dialogue with Italy head coach Roberto Mancini, acknowledging the interest from the Italian side.
"I had similar talks with him. It is normal that there is interest from Italy too. But I told Mancini the same thing I told Klopp. Mancini would have been happy if I had played for Italy. It was a good conversation."
