Schalke signs Austrian forward Junior Adamu
The Gelsenkirchen club has signed 25-year-old forward Junior Adamu from Freiburg on a contract running until 2029.

Gelsenkirchen-based Schalke has officially announced the signing of Austrian forward Junior Adamu. The 25-year-old moves to the club from Freiburg, signing a contract that runs until June 30, 2029.
According to reports in German media, the transfer fee is valued at 800,000 euros.
Adamu spent the first half of the 2025/26 season with Freiburg, where he recorded two goals and two assists in 19 appearances across all competitions. He later spent time on loan at Scottish club Celtic, contributing one goal and one assist in five matches.
