Brazilian icon Ronaldinho has publicly honored Lionel Messi following the Argentine forward's retirement from international football. The two legends, who played 80 matches together during their time at Barcelona, shared a special bond that remains strong years later.
It is such a joy to be part of your story from the beginning, brother! You gave us smiles and made us enjoy football so much! Your name is written in the history of your country and the world. Enjoy life, brother. Ronaldinho
Reflecting on their shared experiences and the dreams they had as children, Ronaldinho acknowledged the personal reasons behind such a decision, noting that family priorities often lead players to reevaluate their paths. Meanwhile, Ronaldinho has recently returned to the pitch in Italy to resume his own playing career.
