Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has become the most cautioned coach in Premier League history since the implementation of bookings for technical staff in the 2019/20 season.
Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi has set an unwanted Premier League record. During the matchday eight fixture against Chelsea, the Italian manager received his 15th yellow card since arriving in English football.
According to data from OptaJoe, De Zerbi is now the most cautioned manager in the league since the introduction of yellow cards for technical staff in the 2019/20 season. The milestone is particularly notable as this is only his third campaign managing in England.
Known for his intense and emotional touchline behavior, De Zerbi has frequently caught the attention of match officials. Before taking over at Tottenham in the summer of 2026, he spent two seasons at Brighton. His previous managerial experience includes spells at Shakhtar Donetsk, Marseille, Sassuolo, Benevento, and Palermo.
