Richarlison has been left out of Tottenham's official Premier League squad for the first half of the season. The decision reflects the club's position that the Brazilian forward no longer features in their plans for the current campaign.
Manager Roberto de Zerbi confirmed last week that the 29-year-old had expressed a desire to leave. A return to his former club, Everton, appeared likely, but the deal collapsed shortly before Tuesday's transfer deadline.
Despite his exclusion from the domestic league roster, Richarlison is still expected to depart the club in the coming days. With transfer windows in Turkey and Saudi Arabia remaining open, there is still time for the forward to finalize a move elsewhere.
