Rhuan Gabriel hits hat-trick in Cruzeiro U-20 rout
Cruzeiro U-20 forward Rhuan Gabriel scored three goals in a 7-0 victory over Social in the Mineiro championship.

Cruzeiro U-20 secured a dominant 7-0 victory over Social on Saturday in the final stage of the Campeonato Mineiro. The win at Toca da Raposa II keeps the young side competitive in the Decagonal Final standings.
Forward Rhuan Gabriel was the standout performer, scoring three times to secure his hat-trick. With this performance, he has extended his lead as the top scorer of the state competition, reaching ten goals in total.
Rayan Lelis opened the scoring late in the first half. In the second half, the floodgates opened with Rhuan Gabriel scoring early, followed by further goals from Pietro, Guilherme, and André, who completed the scoring in the final minutes.
Cruzeiro, managed by Pedro Duarte, currently sits in fourth place with 10 points. The team is scheduled to face Coimbra on September 12.
Rhuan Gabriel's recent form has been a highlight of the season. Beyond the state championship, he has been prolific in the national U-20 Brasileiro, contributing to 14 goals in just 13 appearances. His consistent development has already earned him opportunities to train with the professional squad, though he awaits his first-team debut.
