Rangers have officially completed the signing of 20-year-old Serbian midfielder Vanja Dragojevic. The player arrives from Belgrade-based club Partizan for an undisclosed transfer fee.

Dragojevic has signed a four-year contract with the Scottish club, which includes an option for a further year. Manager Derek McInnes praised the youngster's potential and the leadership qualities he displayed while captaining Partizan at such a young age.

Last season, Dragojevic established himself as a regular starter, making 41 appearances across all competitions. Playing primarily as a defensive midfielder, he contributed four goals and four assists as Partizan finished third in the Serbian SuperLiga.

We are really excited to bring Vanja on board. He's got huge potential, really exciting attributes, and boasts the character to play in this environment. To captain a club the size of FK Partizan at such a young age tells you everything you need to know about the respect he commands and the leadership qualities he already possesses. Derek McInnes

The midfielder is already familiar with Scottish football, having played in both legs of Partizan's Conference League qualifier against Hibernian last year. He also earned international recognition, making his debut for Serbia in May.
