Racing Santander secure 2-1 win over Alaves

Racing Santander secured an important victory against Alaves in the 5th round of La Liga. Despite falling behind early, the hosts managed to turn the match around and claim a 2-1 win.

The visitors took the lead in the 18th minute when Ville Koski found the back of the net. Racing responded before halftime, with Yassir Zabiri capitalizing on an opportunity in the box to equalize in the 38th minute.

Early in the second half, Racing completed the comeback. In the 53rd minute, Zabiri struck again to complete his brace and give the hosts the lead. Even after D.A. Almeida was sent off in the 89th minute, Racing held firm to secure the three points.

The result marks a continuation of Racing's positive start to the current campaign.
