Pedrinho opens up on Cruzeiro's transfer market goals
Cruzeiro owner Pedrinho confirmed the club is seeking a player for a specific position and dismissed rumors about Luiz Henrique.

Cruzeiro's SAF owner, Pedrinho, has opened up about the club's current transfer strategy. Despite making only two signings so far this window, the management remains active in searching for specific reinforcements.
While he did not name a player, the official made it clear that the club is looking for a defensive midfielder. This signing is intended to provide an immediate backup for Lucas Romero and ensure tactical balance in the midfield.
"That is a point of balance we need to have. We have made many investments that no other club has, raising the bar for Cruzeiro. We are working to bring one in, everyone knows the position. But we do it responsibly, without making commitments we cannot fulfill," said Pedrinho.
Pedrinho also highlighted the involvement of head coach Artur Jorge in the decision-making process, emphasizing that any roster changes are aligned with the manager's vision. The club owner explained that recent player departures were due to a combination of financial factors and the players' personal career aspirations.
Furthermore, the executive denied rumors regarding a potential move for forward Luiz Henrique, currently at Zenit. He urged fans to remain calm, reiterating that Cruzeiro already possesses one of the strongest squads in Brazil and that such rumors were never considered by the club's board.
