Oleksiy Sych officially joins Dynamo Kyiv

Dynamo Kyiv has officially announced the signing of right-back Oleksiy Sych. The 25-year-old player has signed a three-year contract with the club, which also includes an option to extend the agreement for an additional season.

Sych is a product of the Karpaty Lviv youth system. Throughout his career, he spent significant time with Rukh Lviv between 2020 and 2025. He also gained international experience during the 2022/23 season while on loan at the Belgian club Kortrijk, where he made 17 appearances across all competitions. At the beginning of 2025, the defender returned to Karpaty.

The newcomer has amassed 87 appearances in the Ukrainian Premier League and has experience in the Ukrainian Cup. Beyond his domestic career, Sych is a member of the Ukraine national team. He made his debut for the senior side in November 2024 during a Nations League match against Albania and has since earned two caps for the national team.
