Obolon secured a comfortable 2-0 victory against Veres in their latest Ukrainian championship fixture. The match took place at the newly renovated Obolon-Arena, marking a successful return for the home side.
Kulakovskyi opened the scoring in the 21st minute, benefiting from a precise long ball from goalkeeper Fedorivskyi. Medynskyi later sealed the win for the Kiev club with an 84th-minute strike.
Veres faced a significant challenge in the second half when David Niyo was sent off in the 54th minute following a rough foul. Despite their best efforts, the visiting side could not recover after falling behind and playing with a numerical disadvantage.
