Neco Williams signs new long-term Nottingham Forest contract until 2030

Nottingham Forest have officially announced that Neco Williams has signed a new long-term contract, securing the versatile full-back's future at the City Ground until 2030. Although he had previously extended his deal in 2025, the club moved quickly to reward his stellar performances with an improved commitment.

The decision follows a remarkable 2025-26 campaign for the defender. His work rate and quality on the flanks led to him being named the fans' Player of the Season, a testament to his impact on the squad.

"His reliability, consistency and continued determination to improve explain why he has become such a loved player by both his teammates and the supporters," said Forest's chief football officer, George Syrianos.

Syrianos emphasized the club's strategy of building around a core of proven performers who embody the club's culture. He noted that keeping top-performing players is essential to maintaining the team's upward trajectory in the Premier League.

Neco Williams originally joined Forest from Liverpool in July 2022 for approximately £17 million. Since then, he has made 163 appearances for the club, contributing four goals and 10 assists. He has started in both of Forest's opening Premier League fixtures this season.
