In a Champions League encounter, Bayern Munich secured a dominant 5-0 victory over Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt. The highlight of the evening was the return of 23-year-old Jamal Musiala, who rejoined the starting lineup following a period of serious health challenges.
Musiala opened the scoring in the 47th minute, capitalizing on a rebound from a Harry Kane strike. This goal was a historic milestone, marking the 900th for the Munich club in the history of the European Cup and Champions League. Following the goal, Musiala celebrated with a symbolic gesture, pointing to his head.

Head coach Vincent Kompany and teammates praised the player's resilience. Musiala previously missed several matches due to a diagnosed neurological dysfunction, which included instances of fainting. His full recovery and return to competitive rhythm provide a significant boost to the squad.
The victory saw Bayern pull away in the second half. Alongside Musiala, Harry Kane, Alphonso Davies, and Michael Olise (twice) found the net. Olise's brace brought his tally to 34 goal contributions for the 2026 calendar year.
