Manchester United win Snapdragon Cup after comeback against Atletico
Bryan Mbeumo's brace and a 15-year-old's debut secured the Snapdragon Cup for Michael Carrick's side in Stockholm.

In a pre-season clash at Stockholm's Strawberry Arena, Manchester United secured a 2-1 victory over Atletico Madrid to lift the Snapdragon Cup.
Diego Simeone's side took an early lead through an accidental Arnau Ortiz cross that found the net. However, Michael Carrick's men fought back. After the break, youngster Shea Lacey won a penalty converted by Bryan Mbeumo, who then added a second goal in the 74th minute to complete the turnaround.
Despite Atletico hitting the post twice, United held firm. The match marked the senior debut of 15-year-old JJ Gabriel, while Chelsea loanee Andrey Santos featured for 82 minutes in midfield.

Michael Carrick expressed satisfaction with his team's progress, highlighting the performance of both senior and youth players. Following previous matches against Wrexham and Rosenborg, United will remain in Sweden to face Paris Saint-Germain in Gothenburg next Saturday.
