Maghreb Fes are on the verge of securing their first foreign signing of the summer transfer window. South African striker Tshegofatso John Mabaso has touched down in Morocco to finalize the paperwork on his move to the club.
The 29-year-old is set to undergo a medical examination before officially putting pen to paper. He is expected to fill the gap left by Moroccan striker Soufiane Benjdida, who recently completed a move to Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
Mabaso's arrival is part of the club's broader plan to rebuild their squad following the departure of several foreign players. His previous experience with Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch, including appearances in the CAF Confederation Cup, is viewed as a significant boost to Maghreb Fes' attacking options for the upcoming season.
