Liverpool have intensified their search for attacking reinforcements by turning their attention to Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr. The Merseyside club has officially submitted a bid worth £50 million to the London side.
The club had initially identified Yankuba Minteh as their priority target for the position. However, Liverpool decided to walk away from those negotiations after determining that the financial terms were too high. They have instead opted to target Sarr, a player with proven experience in the Premier League.
The 28-year-old Sarr enjoyed a prolific 2025/26 season, registering 21 goals and 2 assists across 45 appearances in all competitions. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is approximately £38.6 million.
A significant factor in Liverpool's pursuit is the player's own stance. Sarr is reportedly keen on the transfer and eager to join the squad at Anfield. It remains to be seen whether Crystal Palace, who have previously rejected offers from clubs like Galatasaray, will accept the current proposal.
