Laurent Mendy: Hearts agree deal for Forest Green Rovers captain
Forest Green Rovers captain Laurent Mendy is set to become Hearts' 10th summer signing after an agreement was reached between the clubs.

Hearts have reached an agreement to sign Forest Green Rovers captain Laurent Mendy. The 29-year-old midfielder is set to become the club's 10th signing of a busy summer transfer window.
The Tynecastle side has tracked the French-born player for the past two transfer windows, having seen a bid rejected earlier in January. A deal has now finally been secured for the player, who joined Forest Green from Macclesfield in 2025 and made 47 appearances in the English National League last season.
Negotiations regarding personal terms are currently underway. The club is working to finalize the move as they prepare for the first leg of their Champions League second-round qualifier against Sturm Graz this coming Tuesday.
