Julian Alvarez rejects move to Arsenal

Forward Julian Alvarez has officially turned down a potential move to Arsenal. According to reports from David Ornstein, the player held direct talks with Gunners manager Mikel Arteta and confirmed his lack of interest in moving to the Emirates.
While Arsenal has been prepared to discuss a transfer with Atletico Madrid, the player's refusal remains the primary obstacle. As it stands, the probability of him moving to London is considered very low.
Alvarez's preferred destination remains Barcelona, but Atletico is firmly against selling their star player to the Catalan club, leaving his future in limbo. The situation is further complicated by the fact that the striker has now missed training with the Madrid side for three consecutive days.
Last season, the Argentine was a key contributor, recording 20 goals and 10 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions for Atletico.
