Inter Miami appoint Kily Gonzalez as head coach

Inter Miami have acted to address their recent form by appointing former Valencia and Inter Milan winger Kily Gonzalez as their new head coach. He succeeds Guillermo Hoyos, who had been managing the team on an interim basis following the departure of Javier Mascherano.

The club announced that Gonzalez will officially assume his duties once he receives the necessary work permits. In the meantime, Guillermo Hoyos will provisionally continue to manage the team.

Gonzalez brings experience from his time leading Argentine top-flight clubs like Rosario Central, Union de Santa Fe, and Platense. With a squad featuring stars like Luis Suarez and Messi, expectations for silverware remain high. The challenge for Gonzalez will be to implement his tactical vision immediately to secure the team's standing in the Eastern Conference and keep their MLS Cup hopes alive.
