Dutch side NEC Nijmegen has officially announced the signing of Turkish winger Emre Mor. The 28-year-old has joined the club as a free agent on a two-year contract.
Before finalizing the deal, the player trained with the squad under the guidance of head coach Dick Schreuder, eventually proving his readiness to contribute to the team's goals this season.
Mor arrives in Nijmegen following his departure from Fenerbahce. The winger did not make a single official appearance for the Istanbul club last season as he fell out of the coaching staff's plans. Throughout his career, Mor has featured for clubs including Borussia Dortmund, Celta Vigo, and Galatasaray, while also earning 15 caps for the Turkish national team.
This addition arrives at a crucial time for the club. NEC Nijmegen is set to participate in the Champions League qualification rounds, where they face a challenging matchup against Olympiacos in the third qualifying round.
