Elche to sign Roma defender Bouba Sangare permanently

The Spanish club has activated the buyout clause for the 18-year-old defender following his successful loan spell.

Spanish side Elche have officially moved to sign full-back Bouba Sangare on a permanent basis. The club has activated the 4.5 million euro buyout clause included in the loan agreement with Italian club AS Roma.

During the second half of the season, 18-year-old Sangare made 12 appearances for Elche in La Liga, totaling 541 minutes on the pitch. His contributions were vital in helping the club maintain its status in the top flight, leading the club to secure his services permanently.

The player is a product of the Levante youth system, which received 2.17 million euros when he previously moved to AS Roma. Now, the young defender returns to his home region to continue his development with the Spanish club.
