Dynamo Kyiv leads European ranking for academy player integration

Dynamo Kyiv has topped the CIES Football Observatory ranking for the highest percentage of playing time given to club-trained players.

Dynamo Kyiv has topped the latest ranking from the CIES Football Observatory, which analyzes clubs across Europe's top 30 leagues based on the usage of their own academy graduates.

The study measures the share of playing time given to homegrown players currently in the first team. Dynamo Kyiv leads the list by a significant margin, with 69.7% of total playing time allocated to their academy products.

The club sits ahead of Spanish side Athletic Bilbao, which ranks second with 50%, and Swiss club Luzern, which holds the third spot with 49.3%.

Club officials noted that this achievement reflects their commitment to developing young talent and successfully integrating them into the first-team squad within the top-tier competition.
