Cristiano Ronaldo hints at retirement at the end of the season
Legendary forward Cristiano Ronaldo has indicated that the current season will likely be his final one in professional football.

Legendary Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo has suggested that the current campaign is likely his last as a professional player. The 41-year-old, currently playing for Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, is looking toward a future centered on his family and new personal goals.
In a recent interview, Ronaldo expressed his desire to leave behind a spectacular legacy after a career spanning 25 years. He noted that he has his future mapped out, with plans to travel and focus on hobbies such as padel.

With five Ballon d'Or titles and five Champions League trophies to his name, Ronaldo remains the all-time top goalscorer in men's international football. He is currently just 24 goals away from reaching the 1,000-goal mark in his senior career.
While his contract at Al-Nassr has one year remaining, the prospect of retirement is becoming more concrete. His long-time rival Lionel Messi has also recently voiced uncertainty regarding his own remaining time in the sport.
