Coventry City sign Toulouse winger Yann Gboho

Coventry City have officially confirmed the signing of Toulouse winger Yann Gboho. The 25-year-old becomes the club's 12th signing of a busy summer, during which the newly promoted side has spent over £100m.

The deal was agreed and submitted before Tuesday's transfer deadline, but required ratification from FIFA, which has now been granted. The move is currently subject to the final approval of a UK visa.

Gboho, who represented France at youth level, began his career at Rennes and had spells at Vitesse Arnhem and Cercle Brugge. During his time at Toulouse, he made 83 appearances and scored 19 goals. He is also known as the cousin of Paris St-Germain and France forward Desire Doue.

Frank Lampard's side, having lost their opening two Premier League fixtures, are now preparing for a challenging trip to Manchester City this Saturday.
