Chiellini confirms Kenan Yildiz will be sidelined for months
Giorgio Chiellini has confirmed that Kenan Yildiz will undergo surgery and miss several months, though he insists the injury will not impact the player's career long-term.
Giorgio Chiellini has provided an update on the condition of Kenan Yildiz, confirming that the player will be out of action for several months. The Juventus talent is scheduled to undergo surgery, but the club remains optimistic about his full recovery.
Addressing concerns about the severity of the injury, Chiellini stated: «The situation is clear. He will have to undergo surgery and will be out for a few months, but it is not an injury that rules anything out for his career, it is not a cruciate ligament or a tendon. He will return at 100%».
Chiellini also reflected on the broader progress of Juventus. He noted that the squad is more solid and deeper this season, addressing the issues that led to missing out on the Champions League last year. While the loss of Yildiz is described as a major absence, the club views it as an opportunity for other squad members to make their mark.
