Chelsea management is preparing to open negotiations regarding a new contract for defender Levi Colwill. According to TEAMtalk, securing the player's future has become a priority task for the club's hierarchy.
The move is reportedly driven by the increasing interest in the defender from Liverpool. The 23-year-old has established himself as a key figure in the squad this season, appearing in ten matches across all competitions.
While his current deal runs until the summer of 2029, the club aims to reaffirm their commitment to the defender. The Englishman is currently valued at 50 million euros by Transfermarkt.
