Federico Valverde speaks on working under Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid

Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde has expressed his appreciation for working under Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho, who took charge of the team ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

For me, it is a great honor to perform under the leadership of this coaching staff. Federico Valverde

The Uruguayan's comments come following a string of high-stakes performances. In their recent Champions League matchday four fixture, Real Madrid secured a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory against AEK Athens.
