Former Arsenal assistant Carlos Cuesta has parted ways with Parma by mutual consent due to significant disagreements over the club's long-term project.
Carlos Cuesta has officially left his role as manager of Parma by mutual consent. The decision was reached following an emergency meeting, confirming that the professional relationship between the parties had reached its end.
The departure stems from major differences in vision regarding the club's future project and disagreements over the recent transfer window strategy. In an official communication, the club stated that the necessary conditions to continue the professional relationship no longer existed.
Cuesta, who previously spent five years working as an assistant to Mikel Arteta at Arsenal, took charge of the Italian side in the summer of 2025. During his tenure, he managed 48 matches, recording 15 wins, 13 draws, and 20 losses.
