Championship club Burnley has initiated negotiations to sign forward Jordan Ayew, who is currently available as a free agent. The 34-year-old Ghanaian international has attracted interest from multiple clubs as he weighs his next move.

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Blackburn is also heavily involved in the pursuit. Currently, Blackburn is considered the favorite to complete the deal, with their discussions reportedly at a more advanced stage than those of Burnley.

Ayew spent last season with Leicester City, where he made 45 appearances, scoring 6 goals and providing 3 assists. The veteran forward is expected to make a final decision regarding his future in the coming days.
