Brentford are continuing their pursuit of West Ham defender El Hadji Malick Diouf. According to Football Insider, the club is ready to submit an improved offer of £37 million to secure the 21-year-old left-back.
West Ham have already turned down three previous bids from the Bees. Despite this, Brentford remain persistent, aiming to reach an agreement before the transfer window shuts. Negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, and this latest attempt could prove decisive.
The young defender enjoyed a productive campaign last season, making 28 Premier League appearances and providing 5 assists. His progress has not gone unnoticed by other top clubs, with Manchester United previously linked as a potential suitor.
The proposed fee of £37 million is significantly higher than the player's Transfermarkt valuation of €28 million. It remains to be seen whether this improved financial incentive will be enough to convince the Hammers to let him leave.
