Besiktas officially begins negotiations with Vincenzo Italiano

The Turkish club has confirmed the start of talks with the former Bologna coach regarding the vacant managerial position.

The management of Besiktas has officially announced the start of negotiations with Italian manager Vincenzo Italiano regarding the head coach position. The club confirmed the development through an official statement.

According to journalist Alfredo Pedulla, the Turkish side has offered the 48-year-old a two-year contract. The proposed deal includes an annual salary of six million euros for the manager, with an additional 2.5 million euros allocated annually for his coaching staff.

Negotiations are currently at an advanced stage, with both the club and the coach working to finalize the remaining details of the potential agreement.

Italiano has been without a club since his departure from Bologna at the end of the season. Despite a successful tenure that included a Coppa Italia victory and an eighth-place finish in Serie A, the parties were unable to reach an agreement on a new contract.
