Artem Dovbyk to miss Ukraine international duty due to injury

Forward Artem Dovbyk will not join the Ukraine national team for the upcoming international break. The Bologna player has decided to remain at his club to focus on recovering from a muscle injury.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the striker coordinated the decision with the national team coaching staff and Bologna's management. Both parties agreed that it is more important for the player to undergo a full rehabilitation course during this period rather than risking further injury.
During the international break, Dovbyk will follow an individual training program at the Casteldebole base. The goal is for him to return to peak condition before the resumption of the Italian championship. The striker had already missed Bologna's recent Serie A match against Torino due to the same muscle issue.
