The fifth round of the 2026/27 Bundesliga season saw five matches take place on Saturday, October 10. Bayern Munich avoided an away defeat against Augsburg, drawing 2-2 as Harry Kane provided two assists to keep the visitors competitive.
Elsewhere, Bayer Leverkusen secured a thrilling 4-3 victory over Mainz in a high-scoring encounter. Meanwhile, Stuttgart maintained their momentum with a clean 2-0 win away at Paderborn, with goals coming from Chabot and Führich.
Hamburg claimed a dramatic 3-2 victory against Hoffenheim, aided by a 65th-minute red card for the home side's Bernardo. Additionally, Union Berlin finally secured their first three points of the new campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Elversberg courtesy of a late strike from Burcu.
